Environmental Management and Monitoring Efforts (UKL-UPL) is a document that outlines the environmental management and monitoring plans for activities or projects that do not require an Environmental Impact Assessment (AMDAL). The purpose of UKL-UPL is to identify, manage, and monitor potential environmental impacts resulting from such activities.

Objectives of UKL-UPL

UKL-UPL Submission Process

• Document Preparation
  The project owner prepares a UKL-UPL document containing both management and monitoring plans.

• Submission to Authorities
  The document is submitted to the relevant government agency, such as the Environmental Agency (Dinas Lingkungan Hidup).

• Evaluation by Authorities
  The agency will evaluate the document to ensure it aligns with applicable regulations and environmental standards.

• Issuance of Decision Letter
  If approved, the authority will issue an official letter confirming that the UKL-UPL has been approved.

• Activity Description
  Detailed description of the planned activity, including location and project scale.

• Impact Analysis
